The “Ľubovnianska knižnica” library provides methodical, consultative, advisory and educational assistance to the municipal administrations and libraries of its region in the following areas:
- training and mentoring of new library staff
- review, updating and disposing of library collections
- providing guidelines for the revisions of library collections
- help with processing statistical reports about libraries
- education for library and information workers in the region
- assistance in the processing of basic documents (statute, library regulations and others)
- advice on implementation of automated library and information systems
- providing latest information from the field of librarianship for founding entities and librarians of public libraries in the region
- providing information regarding the possibilities of obtaining funds from the Ministry of Culture’s Grant system
